
Bernie snorts, unable to hide his grin, and Roman and Claudia both laugh heartily. Hector shrugs casually, used to this treatment, and Vy scratches at his neck, looking at the door and wondering if he’s done his quota of socialization yet. At least everyone is in better spirits, now that Art has the spotlight. Vy’s never been good at having attention on him unless the spotlight in question is in red...
“Speaking of experiments. Reiter.”
Vy snaps out of his thoughts and looks down at Hector. “Yeah?”
Hector smiles, hands folded together, an eager twinkle in his eyes. “Do stop by the lab later. I have some tests I’d like to run—”
“Nope! Vetoing that,” Vy says. “You have Helen’s notes. You don’t need to take your own.”
Hector frowns. “Now, Vy, we both know that while Helen is intelligent… She’s more of a medical doctor than a psientist. She wouldn’t ask the same questions I would.”
The two of them end up in a staring match before Vy gives up and sighs. “Alright, fine. I’ll find myself out your way visiting at some point, so we’ll do it then.”
